Every person who ever attended or taught at Claremont High School is invited to a full weekend of special activities over the weekend of Sept. 14-16.
The Claremont High School Wolfpack Alumni Society will present a special reunion event for all alumni on Saturday, Sept. 15, from 6-11 p.m. at the Old School House Plaza in Claremont. The event includes entertainment, appetizers, a no-host bar, historical exhibits and raffle prizes. The cost to attend is $30 before Sept. 10 and $40 at the door.
On Friday, Sept. 14, the Alumni Society invites all CHS alumni to a happy hour gathering at Casa de Salsa at 6 p.m., and to the Claremont High football game at CHS against Bonita High at 7 p.m.
In addition, several Claremont High classes will hold separate reunions in Claremont on Sept. 14. The Class of 1957 will hold a reunion dinner at Walter’s Restaurant. The Class of 1961 will hold a dinner party at Eureka Burger, while the Class of 1967 will gather at the home of Pat Shaner. The Class of 1977 will hold a no-host gathering at Walter’s Restaurant.
On Sunday, Sept. 16, CHS alumni are invited to a pancake breakfast hosted by the Claremont Kiwanis Club at Memorial Park from 7-11 a.m. Tickets are $5 per person.
The Claremont High Alumni Society was formed in 2010 to honor the high school’s 100-year anniversary. It held its inaugural all-class reunion in 2011, bringing together generations of CHS graduates.
